Why Beth's death on The Walking Dead affected us the way it did
For me, Beth's character on The Walking Dead was neither here nor there for a long time. I didn't like or dislike her she was just there.
After the attack on the prison and everybody got out and went their own separate ways did they finally start building her character and you grew attached to her somewhat. Not so much that her death in those first few episodes after the prison would have affected you as harshly as it did when it happened.
She effectively disappears for quite a while we have no clue what's going on. When we find her again she's in the hospital and to me those episodes were extremely long drawn-out and boring even though they did have a use of course.
When they finally go in to do the trade, Beth stands up and makes her move to save Noah and in turn gets killed. I absolutely love her for this and what a way to go out totally unexpected. Some people think this was a waste and that she shouldn't have done it. Rick and the group would have taken care of any Revenge.
I believe she was totally justified and loved seeing her take her own Revenge by herself.
I think the thing that made the death so horrible was that we are
about to see everything work out
and bamm! that happens.
It was completely unexpected. Rick Daryl and Maggie and all of the characters' reactions were so heart-wrenching that to me it made it one of the most epic deaths in the whole show. Yep I said it even Hershel didn't affect me that way. I started out not even caring one way or the other about Beth and that scene made me cry like a baby.

Negan's epic kill?
Does it really matter at this point who Negan kills. At this point we've all probably gotten used to any of the characters dying. But just wait until the season 7 Premiere in October you may feel differently.
The way the writers of The Walking Dead have traditionally done things has thrown us for a loop every time. The expectation of Negan coming on the scene for the whole season 6 and then the finale was such a huge build-up that we couldn't stand the tension.
We all may think that we will be disappointed if this character or that character doesn't get it because we've been told it's going to be epic and what death on The Walking Dead hasn't been epic so far? At the same time we're still rooting for our guy or girl not to get Lucille.
I believe that this scene is going to be so gruesome and hit close to home no matter who gets it that It
will have an effect on all of us and no one will be disappointed.
With all the Cinematic tricks that can be played all our theories could be in the garbage.. I trust that the writers and producers have something epic in store for us when season 7 starts.
There's a lot of people that say it can't be this or it can't be that or it has to be this or that but that's just not so and things can change without changing the season 6 finale. And who is really to say that only one person is going to die in that first episode
The only real difference here is that we are and have been expecting a major character death.

Chris fear the walking dead making a villian
Chris showed some more crazy last Sunday and even though a lot of people in the fan groups want him gone I like the character,
How can you have a show or story like this with out one if not many antagonists?
I think Chris can grow into a full blown psychopathic villain. Different from TWD we can actually see how people become what they do in an apocalyptic world. How did the governor-Negan-the wolves etc get where they are from where they were? Now we can see from the start.
Right now on Fear all we have is a bunch of people fumbling around and learning a new world, but I think it's going o get a lot better. If you were Chris at 16 and going through what he has before and after the infection and world break down, really you could go either way.Good bad dead. He was really one of the first characters to get what the new world is going to be like and do what it takes to take control whether it be of who he is with (NOT) or a new group he forms. He's used all brawn and emotion and very little brain so far but I see the makings of a very formidable adversary.
Every good villain has to have a little cracra in them now he just needs to develop either all out ruthlessness or some charm and cunning.
